Sergio Perez is now an official part of the Red Bull racing till 2024 for which he feels very happy and proud announcing it later this day. He has been a part of the team since 2021, he has been driving at his best since joining. He had one win and multiple podiums for the team last season.

Three-time race winner did struggle to connect with the RB-16 at the start of 2021 but very well managed it later on. He won his first race for the Austrian team in Baku which was his second win overall. He also did a fantastic job stopping  Lewis Hamilton in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which if the 7-time world champion won could have resulted in his 8th, but the Mexcian defender managed to get his teammate, Max Verstappen, his first world title.

However, the 32-year-old is very pleased with the Monaco weekend, “For me, this has been an incredible week, winning the Monaco Grand Prix is a dream for any driver and then to follow that with announcing I will continue with the Team until 2024 just makes me extremely happy. I am so proud to be a member of this Team and I feel completely at home here now,” he said told Red Bull’s official channels.

Pierre Gasly who is currently driving for Alpha Tauri was the part of 2019 Red Bull team, but his lack of performance caused him a demotion to Alpha Tauri midseason. He has been trying to make a comeback in the Head team once again but has failed to do so.
The closest he came to join the party was in 2021, but the seat was offered to the 32-year-old Perez. Now that the Mexican has extended his contract till 2024, Gasly is left with no option but to look for some other team if he wants to reach the top and leave the midfield.

As the relationship between the Bull drivers is getting stronger and stronger it becomes more dangerous, We are working very well together and my relationship with Max, on and off the track, is definitely helping drive us forward even more. We have built tremendous momentum as a Team and this season is showing that, I am excited to see where that can take us all in the future.” said Checo
For the French men, it means no space in the Austrian team for the time being.
