While the 2021 Champion Max Verstappen retired during the 40th lap of the Australian GP. Red Bull boss Christian Horner was definitely frustrated after the Dutchman suffered his second retirement of the season. He admired the speed the Ferrari showed on track but Mattia Binotto thinks otherwise.

Charles Leclerc claimed his second victory of the season in the 2022 Australia GP. The Ferrari driver extended his lead in the Drivers Championship in first place with 71 points. Red Bull’s Sergio Perez finished second. Meanwhile, George Russell claimed his first podium finish as a Mercedes driver as the Briton finished 3rd in the race.

The Scuderia lead the championship with more than 50 points separating them and Red Bull, who are in 3rd place behind Mercedes. Red Bull team principal Christian Horner labelled the Ferrari F175 as “unstoppable”.

Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto is surely impressed with the success his team has achieved in the opening three races of the season. Meanwhile, he is happy to be back in Italy and receive a warm welcome from the Tifosi who will be passionately supporting the Scuderia.

Binotto said, “I don’t know if [we] will be unstoppable. Every single race will be different but it will be great to be in Imola now with such a great start to the season, after a win, to go there, there will be a lot of Tifosi. I just remember where we are coming in the morning and entering the paddock with all the fans there, it’s a great emotion. So we are very happy, we are looking forward to it and we hope that there will be a lot of Tifosi there.”
