“I don’t think I have peaked yet as a driver,” Valtteri Bottas states his best days are yet to come in F1

Valtteri Bottas has revealed that he is still hungry as ever to perform at an extremely high level and feels he has got a lot to offer in the sport. Moreover, has also stated that he is continuously learning new things about himself and the Alfa Romeo that he is driving this year.
Valtteri Bottas has recently talked about his prospects in 2022 after making the switch from reigning the reigning Constructors Champions Mercedes and has radiated a lot of positivity.
The Finn has got rookie driver Zhou Guanyu as a teammate this year who he has comfortably managed to beat, Bottas after 13 rounds, has managed to score 46 points for the Sauber team whereas Guanyu has only got 5 to show for his efforts.
During his time at Mercedes, it was difficult for Bottas to get his requests put into action but ever since making the switch to the Ferrari sister team, things have changed drastically for him.

Valtteri Bottas states that he is still learning and growing as a driver
Moreover, the 32-year-old has indicated that there he has more to give in the upcoming second leg of the season. While shedding light on it Bottas said, “That is quite hard to measure, because obviously everything is new this year.”
“But in terms of how I feel in the car, I feel really comfortable. I don’t think I’ve peaked yet as a driver. I think it’s individual and for me, it’s not yet so I’m still learning. That’s the beauty of the sport if you still want to learn.”
“I guess it also depends on the atmosphere and the surroundings and everything. For me, it works. And I really like this car and being able to really also set it up how I want. So that’s nice.”
Valtteri Bottas is relishing the new atmosphere that he has got around him this year and as the lead driver of the team is highly motivated to contribute to the success of Alfa Romeo.
At the moment, they are in sixth place in the Constructors Championship and from the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix onwards, the target for Valtteri and Co. is going to be to score as many points as possible to cement their position as the Haas F1 team is not far behind in the seventh position.
