“That’s how it goes sometimes,” Kimi Raikkonen speaks out about his crash

Kimi Raikkonen

I had a good line there … unfortunately I had no time to react. It was good fun. I felt more confidence all the time and had some good battles. The car felt like it had a lot of speed in there, but that’s how it goes sometimes,” he said. It wasn’t the luckiest race weekend for the Finn but he was fortunate to have come from the crash without any major injuries.

Small teams in Nascar generally invite racing talents from other sports to increase the profile of the sport. They do it by organising one-off participations by the driver to increase the excitement among the fans. It is also not surprising at all that this isn’t Kimi Raikkonen’s first time racing in Nascar.
