Italian GP 2022: Ferrari set to unveil celebratory liveries at the ‘Temple of Speed’

In a recent social media post by the Scuderia Ferrari team, they have teased the probable unveiling of a special livery or celebratory suits ahead of their home Grand Prix at Monza on September 9th this coming weekend. The post shows their drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc posing with sunglasses and wearing the team jersey’s with their respective driver numbers on it.
The post has a black and white background so as not to reveal too much to the fans but show possible signs of a livery or celebratory suits that could be unveiled at Monza this weekend. The Ferrari team are in need of a win and a change in look could be a possible direction towards better things to come.
Ferrari have had a disappointing result at Zandvoort last weekend with their drivers finishing P3 and P8 respectively. The team look forward to their next race at their home ground and despite the odds being stacked against them, Ferrari seem to have hopes for a victory. They are currently 2nd in the Constructors championship and losing to Red-Bull by a margin of 135 points.
Do Ferrari have a chance for a win at Monza?
The Dutch Grand Prix ended in disaster for a team such as Ferrari which is hoping to win the championship. Due to a very silly error by the mechanics, Carlos Sainz’s race was ruined resulting him in coming P8. However, the situation wasn’t any better for their lead driver Charles Leclerc as he faced his own set of problems on track.
Red-Bull and Ferrari had discounted Mercedes as potential rivals for the podium at Zandvoort, but they were proved wrong as they seemed to have the pace that was rivalling Ferrari at every point of the race. Despite having a downforce advantage over other teams they were unable to perform optimally, losing them the race win.
The next race is at Monza which is the home Grand Prix for Ferrari and they seem desperate for a win here as it would not only lift up their spirits but keep them in contention for the championship this season. They seem to have a disadvantage and expect other teams to be faster, but their hopes are not diminished and they look forward to the possibility of a win here.
