Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari F1 driver’s luxury watch, was stolen last year, and the Italian police have recently brought in four people who were wanted in connection with the stolen watch. When the watch was stolen last year, much was said about it in the media, but the topic eventually died down after some time.

However, with the Italian Police’s recent revelation, the topic has again become the center of attention. The Italian police, through an official statement admitted that they had found two “valuable watches, the provenance of which will be investigated further.” It is believed that the next step in the investigation is going to be to search the house of one of the suspects.

Charles Leclerc is from Monte Carlo, and last April, he got his exclusive (apparently worth) €2 million worth Richard Mille timepiece stolen from his wrist in the Italian seaside resort of Viareggio. Moreover, the theft took place when Leclerc was approached by multiple motorcycle drivers who asked for getting a selfie with him. It was the perfect opportunity for whoever stole the watch, as the Ferrari driver, must have been distracted during the incident with a lot of people around him.

While the Italian police have nabbed four suspects, it is yet not clear whether one of the two watches that they have secured belongs to Charles Leclerc. While there is a high chance that one of the recovered watches is really of the Monegasque driver, the Italian police will give a definite answer after further investigation.

Charles Leclerc came into the 2023 F1 season with the hope of challenging for the World Championship. However, after three races in the ongoing campaign, his title hopes have taken a massive hit. Because of a plethora of reasons, Charles Leclerc has only managed a mere six points in the season so far. This has put him massively on the back foot in comparison to the front runners.

The Maranello-based Ferrari F1 team has got a car this year that is very competitive in qualifying trims, however, when it comes to race, the SF-23 has lacked pace in comparison to Red Bull, Mercedes, and, even Aston Martin. The situation is so bad that the Italian outfit is rumored to introduce a whole new car concept in the sixth round of the ongoing campaign.

While the Italian Police are trying their best to find Charles Leclerc’s stolen watch, the need of the hour is also for the Ferrari F1 team to put their best foot forward and produce a strong car for its Monegasque driver. Considering everything, do you think Charles Leclerc would be able to bounce back in the upcoming F1 races?
