F1 has been around since the 1950s and over the years, has seen its races take place all over the globe. Moreover, there have been quite a few tracks that have found a place for themselves on an F1 calendar on a regular basis.
Places like Japan, Brazil, and Italy have staged a decent number of races so far and have been witness to many Championship deciding races.
The above-mentioned events have been usually stages in the latter half of an F1 calendar and thus had the privilege of hosting quite a decent number of Championship deciding events.
In the sport’s history so far, Japan has staged the most number of Championship deciding races, and the most recent one was during Max Verstappen’s 2022 title triumph a few days ago.

The Dutchman has secured the title with four races still remaining on the calendar and with that, Japan has become the out-and-out leader when it comes to hosting the most number of Championship deciding races.
Monza has hosted 11 F1 races that have led to deciding the Championship

While Japan with Max Verstappen’s recent victory has become the leader when it comes to hosting the most number of Championship-deciding Grand Prix, there is another iconic event on the calendar that is very close behind Japan.
The Italian Grand Prix has been an integral part of F1 for many years, and so far in its history, has hosted a total of eleven F1 Championship-deciding races.
The Autodromo Nazionale Monza Circuit is known as the temple of speed and considering this fact it is quite fitting that it has hosted 11 Championship deciders.
The other races that have hosted multiple Championship deciding events are Brazil(6), Mexico(4), Germany(4), Abu Dhabi(4), and America(3).

Suzuka and Monza were tied on 11 a piece till the recently concluded Japanese Grand Prix, however, despite Japan edging Italy for the most number of Championship-deciding races at the moment, the F1 calendar keeps on changing every year drastically and who knows Italy might get its chance of getting its number to 12 in the upcoming years of the sport.
F1 calendars are getting bigger year after year, and the way things are going, there will be ample opportunities for Monza to get a slot toward the end of an F1 season so that it will have a chance of equalling Japan.
