Liam Lawson will be making another FP1 appearance with AlphaTauri this season. Lawson has been a part of the Red Bull junior team since 2019. He first test-drove an F1 car when he took part in the Abu Dhabi Young Driver test with the Scuderia AlphaTauri team driving the AT02.

Liam Lawson was promoted to the role of reserve driver, following Juri Vips’ racial slur that generated a lot of hate towards him on the internet. Due to the incident with Juri Vips, Lawson was promoted to the role of reserve driver to replace him. Franz Tost had later announced that Lawson would be making his Formula 1 debut in the FP1 of the Belgium Grand Prix.

It will be a great opportunity for Liam Lawson to gain experience with an F1 car which will also help him further in his career. Fans want Lawson to secure a permanent F1 seat in the future seasons so that they can see his skills in an actual race.

Liam Lawson made his F1 debut at the Spa- Francorchamps circuit at the Belgian Grand Prix in the FP1 session. He was promoted to the role of reserve driver following the aforementioned racial slur incident involving Juri Vips’ that caused massive waves among the F1 community.

The fans were excited to see Lawson make his debut with F1 with the Scuderia AlphaTauri team at the Belgian Grand Prix. Following his testing session, an elated Lawson commented: “I’ve enjoyed getting to drive the car around such an iconic track, it’s been a crazy experience.”

Liam Lawson has been adored by the fans ever since his first F1 appearance at the Belgian Grand Prix and people expect quite a bit from him in the future.
