“Luck will change,” Mick Schumacher hopes to score in Silverstone after an unfortunate Canadian GP
Mick Schumacher
Mick Schumacher, after over one year of being in F1, scored his highest qualifying result in Montreal, Canada; a P6, with his teammate Kevin Magnussen at P5. Everyone had extremely high hopes from Schumacher to score his first ever points in the sport, and he was battling really steady with Zhou Guanyu, another F1 rookie. Everything was going good for the German until his car had a mechanical failure and had to retire early from the race. This was a heartbreak for Mick’s fans and the team.

Mick is a former F2 champion, but his luck in F1 hasn’t shined yet, with him being signed up for Haas in 2021, the team that scored 0 points, and even now with much development, all his point-scoring opportunities are falling out of his grape. But one thing that can be noticed and appreciated is his improvement per race. He fought for 18 good laps in the race, and then faced the issue. He stated that he was frustrated with the incident, but he still hasn’t lost hope of scoring his initial F1 points, really soon.

Mick Schumacher has still not lost hopes
Schumacher is still extremely hopeful to score points; “Eventually luck will change hopefully. So yeah, it’s obviously tough, but I’ve had these seasons in the past and we’ve managed to be there after all. So yeah, we have a few more races to go,” Motorsport quoted the German.
He also stated that though the entire event that happened is frustrating, it is a part of F1, where everything is on the edge. Being the son of Legend Michael Schumacher, Mick certainly has the talent of topping in the sport, as he showed by winning the 2020 F2 championship, he just needs a better start now.
