WATCH: McLaren hilariously promote a cryptocurrency with ‘magician’ Daniel Ricciardo

The F1 summer break ended with shocking announcements from the beloved drivers on the grid, with Daniel Ricciardo announcing that he will not be racing with McLaren after 2022 which leaves him without a seat for the next season. This news deeply saddened the F1 community as they were disappointed to see one of their favourite drivers not have a seat for the next season.

Ricciardo has been unable to perform up to the fans’ expectations since the start of the season and has only scored a total of 19 points so far this season. The underwhelming performance by the 33-year-old Australian driver has had many questioning his ability all season but there are drivers on the grid who believe in his ability to perform and are confident of his ability to win more races in the future.

With 6 races left to go, if Daniel Ricciardo has any ambitions of securing a seat for the next season, he will need to step up and prove himself in the upcoming races to show that he still possesses his exceptional driving skills. The fans nonetheless love him and want to see him in an F1 seat next year.

McLaren posts on Twitter in which Daniel Ricciardo plays a magician

McLaren recently posted an advertisement promoting a crypto trading app that has partnered with the team. In the video, we can see Ricciardo wearing a robe, a hat and holding a magic wand in his hand. This is to give him the persona of a magician in the ad while he is seen talking to an animatronic called honey badger.

In the video it is seen that the company has named the 33-year-old Australian driver, ‘The Honey Badger’ and he is shown talking to an animatronic of a badger.

The video is a comical way to promote their crypto partner and is an excellent display of Daniel’s showmanship which has been one of the main reasons for the love showered to him by the fans.
