Nyck De Vries has replaced Alex Albon for the Italian Grand Prix since the 26 year old driver has been admitted to the hospital on account of appendicitis surgery. The performance shown by the 27 year old Dutchman has many fans wondering as to whether he will replace Latifi in the 2023 F1 season since the Canadian driver has been performing poorly all season, unable to score points for the team.

Currently Williams is last in the constructors championship with just having scored a total of 4 points which are credited to Alex Albon. Nyck De Vries on the other hand has been able to get the Williams into Q2 and has given it a midfield start during the Italian Grand Prix.

If the Dutchman is able to score points for the team that would be a win in their books and De Vries would be a driver ripe for the taking next season alongside Albon. De Vries has won the F2 and the Formula -E championship making him a highly experienced and accomplished driver in the world of motorsport.
