Monaco GP: Weather forecast for the seventh round of the season

Monaco GP: Weather forecast for the seventh round of the season

Monaco Grand Prix is an integral part and pinnacle of motorsport, one could argue over its title. It has been a part of Formula 1 for a few decades now, considered to be the ‘Crown Jewel’ of F1. It adds its own value to the one who wins Grand Prix on the streets.

The Circuit has a high demand for ones driving skills. It is tested in every corner of the track with walls on both sides, one slight mistake and it would end your race.

Apart from all the damage, the track fails to give us the lively experience of racing as overtaking is not possible on the track. This has been the exact reason for the criticism Monaco has had to face in the last few years.

But one thing that can and has always affected the boring race is rain. All the wets/intermediate tyres and the strategy calling for the rain marks the very edge for an interesting race.

To our luck 2022, Monaco Grand Prix can be one of the wets races in the season, with the weather forecast predicting it to be one, we can expect to see the Blue and Green tyres on the new 2022 designed cars. Temperatures are expected to be 23-17 degrees on Saturday and 19-14 on Sunday.

Monaco could really shuffle the Title Fight

Rain in Monaco could make new orders in the race relying on the driver’s experience and skills on wets. Max Verstappen happens to have a great wet race experience as seen since the start of his career. Charles Leclerc isn’t on the level of Max on wets also considering the Home Race curse he has been suffering since the start of 2018, he stands back from his rival, but he needs to uplift his game if he wants to fight for the title this season.

Special factors for the race could be the Mercedes, with the jump they had in Spain, they could really bring trouble for the Bulls and Ferraris. Lewis Hamilton has won all the wet races we have had since the entry of the Brit in sports, in 2007.
