Guenther Steiner’s Haas has been linked with quite a few drivers in recent times and the team’s decision to wait for some more times gives an indication that they want to see how their current driver Mick Schumacher is going to perform in the remaining nine races of the season.

Mick Schumacher after 13 rounds, has managed to amass only 12 points compared to Magnussen’s 22, and his F1 future is really handing by a thread.

However, from the upcoming Belgium Grand Prix onward, Mick is also going to get the update on his VF-22 that his teammate was allowed to run in Hungary.

Given all the shenanigans that are taking place around his seat, the 23-year-old is going to be extremely eager to deliver in the remaining nine races of the season.

Haas has indicated that their decision is not going to be based on what Ferrari does regarding Schumacher and considering that Antonio Giovinazzi is also in contention for the Haas seat, it is going to be fascinating to see who eventually is going to end up in the seat for 2023.
