Nikita Mazepin after winning the Silk Way Rally

Early in 2022, Nikita Mazepin unexpectedly lost his Formula 1 seat following the Ukraine-Russia conflict, forcing the young Russian to alter his plans. Mazepin is currently getting his chance at rallying and is succeeding quite well.

Mazepin has made a Silk Way Rally registration. a raid-rally that will take place exclusively within Russian borders in 2022. In 2022, Mazepin will be without a seat on a permanent basis, making this the ideal time to join the rally.

For Snag Racing Team, Russian driver Nikita Mazepin competed in the T3 car division and won stage seven. “I have a very good feeling. We have had eight days, every day is different. Every day is a new test, but everything is positive,” said the former Haas driver.

Mazepin has assumed control of the T3 class’s overall standings with his triumph in stage seven. The Russian claims that this is unimportant and that he is content to take pleasure in the raid.

The biggest rivals in 2022 in the Silk Way Rally will be the drivers from Belarus and Russia. The lineup was more tougher in prior years because of drivers like Nasser Al-Attiyah and Carlos Sainz Sr.
