Helmut Marko finally speaks about rumours of a minor connection still between Red Bull and Juri Vips. He openly confirmed the association with the driver to have come to an end after the racial slur used by the Estonians. Juri was in a gaming live stream hosted by Liam Lawson when he used the slur that later on triggered the fans around the world. Helmut Marko, head of the Red Bull junior driver programme, held driver’s mistakes as his own responsibility with no concerns for Red Bull.

Christian Horner earlier didn’t clarify the ties between Red Bull and Juri and also supported him for “mental health and educational perspective, ”. But with Marko confirming the exit of Juri, the 21-year-old has run his career before even getting it started. He has been removed as a reserve driver for the Formula 1 Red Bull team and was also seen wearing a black Helmut and white race suit confirming his deals ending with Red Bull.

“Juri Vips no longer receives any support from Red Bull. You need to be responsible for your actions and as a result, our cooperation has ended, ” said Helmut Marko.

Although Helmut still is disappointed with the confirmation of Juri’s exit as he was one of the most bright drivers in the eyes of Red Bull’s advisor.
“Of course, words are not a reason to destroy the career of a talented athlete. Especially as he apologised. But these are global trends, ” said Helmut Marko.

Juri as mentioned was seen with a black helmet and white suit still driving for Hitech. He finished fifth and eighth in the race and is overall eighth in the Formula 2 table.
