Nyck De Vries, the former AlphaTauri driver, had an extremely challenging 2023 season in F1. He looked on the backfoot from the get-go and, after the British Grand Prix, was brutally shown the exit door by the team.
While a lot was made of this fiasco back then, Nyck De Vries has recently addressed the happenings and claimed that he has no grudge against anyone at AlphaTauri. De Vries views his sacking as just a part of the F1 business.

While talking about the same recently, he added, as reported by De Telegraaf:
Whether it is fair or just is actually completely irrelevant to me. I also have no grudge against Helmut Marko or Daniel Ricciardo or his temporary replacement Liam Lawson. That's part of the business. I am very grateful for the opportunity I have been given.
Looking at the reaction of the Dutchman, he has left no stone unturned in making it clear that he has nothing against Marko or Ricciardo. The 28-year-old understands how brutal the world of F1 is and has thus, even gone on to thank the Faenza-based team for his 2023 opportunity.
Nyck De Vries was sacked after just 11 races in 2023
While Nyck De Vries has made it known that he has nothing against Helmut Marko and Co. for how he was treated at AlphaTauri, during that time, several of the F1 pundits were not at all pleased with his treatment.

They believed that the AT04 was nowhere near the level of its rivals teams during the first leg and De Vries was expected to deliver results straightaway. After his sacking, a large group of the F1 pundits was utterly disappointed.

While what’s done is done, Nyck de Vries has quickly moved on to other things and this year, he will be seen participating in Formula E with the Mahindra team. He won the title in the competition during the 2020-2021 season.
