Oscar Piastri’s mom Nicole shares adorable picture of his pet dogs as she tells son they ‘miss’ him
Oscar Piastri's mom recently gave him a reminder about his cute pet while posting a photo on her X wall.
McLaren racer Oscar Piastri debuted in Formula 1 at the beginning of the 2023 season in place of fellow countryman Daniel Ricciardo at only 21 years of age. This made the 2001-born one of the youngest on the grid, racing against heavyweight veteran drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, who shared 9 F1 World Championships between them. But Oscar has not shied away from the challenged and he even delivered a great performance in his first year in the pinnacle of motorsports. And through it all, he has been supported by his mother, Nicole Piastri.
Oscar Piastri‘s mother Nicole is somewhat of a celebrity herself because of her excellent social media skills. The Aussie has again and again taken to her X handle to post hilarious content in relation to her prodigious son, Oscar. And in one of the most recent tweets, Nicole Piastri shared a snap of their cute pet dog who looked quite forlorn as he started blankly with eyes turned down.
With the caption of the picture, Nicole reminded Oscar Piastri that he needs to be back home since it is the F1 season break and his pet misses him.
Look who’s missing you @OscarPiastri. It appears your cheese & cabana bribes have worked.Nicole Piastri wrote on her X wall, tagging her son Oscar.
Oscar Piastri’s boss at McLaren Zak Brown once claimed the young Aussie is a future F1 World Champion
Oscar Piastri has won races his whole life, owing to him being tagged as a prodigy by many of his fans. Being managed by the legendary Australian driver Mark Webber, Oscar has already seen a Formula 3 win as well as a Formula 2 win in his career. And he made splashes in the F1 world before even entering it since both Alpine and McLaren jumped in on the chance of hiring him for their 2023 campaign.
In the end, McLaren won the court battle with Alpine and brought in Oscar Piastri as Lando Norris’ teammate. The young duo have been impressive and Zak Brown’s pride showed.
The indications are we've got a future world champion on our hands. Oscar has been impressive since we've had him in the car.Zak Brown claimed, via The New York Times.
In other news, Zak Brown recently admitted that not everyone at McLaren were happy with the decision to end Daniel Ricciardo’s contract with the team prematurely to bring in Oscar. The Honey Badger was let go from the Woking outfit with a $22 million dollar paycheck for his premature contract termination. In the end, he missed out on a regular racing seat in 2023 and was hired by Red Bull in a reserve driver role. But midway through the season, he was summoned to replace Nyck deVries in Red Bull’s sister team AlphaTauri as Yuki Tsunoda’s teammate.
