Nicholas Latifi scored the first points of his 2022 F1 season at the Suzuka International Race Course and that has led a fan to get a tattoo of him after his exploits.

Nicholas Latifi scored an impressive P9 finish at the Japanese Grand Prix and that has got the whole F1 community jumping on their feet. No one was giving Latifi much of a chance this year, however, with a P9 finish at Suzuka, the Canadian has proved all his doubters wrong.

While the 27-year-old has enjoyed his first points of the current campaign, the same cannot be said about the fan who got the Latifi tattoo after the Japanese GP.

One F1 enthusiast ahead of the 2022 season had promised to get a Nicholas Latifi tattoo if he finished in points-scoring positions in any of the races, and while the dude was having a great time seeing Latifi finish out of the Top 10 regularly, his worst nightmare came true when the Williams driver managed a P9 finish in Japan.

Nicholas Latifi has been with the Wantage-based Williams F1 team since 2019 and after spending 4 years with them, he is saying sayonara to the sport at the end of the current campaign.

Latifi was in the running to get a contract extension at Williams, however, because of consistent lackluster performances, Williams decided against offering the 27-year-old a contract extension.

Nicholas Latifi has struggled immensely against Alexander Albon who is in his rookie season with the team, and this has come as a body blow as far as his chances of continuing at Williams were concerned.

The 2022 F1 season is 17 rounds down, and as things stand, the Canadian has only got four races left in his F1 career. Starting from the upcoming United States GP, Williams is going to do their best in order to give Latifi the best possible package, and the Canadian on his part will try to make the remaining few races a memorable experience for him and the team.
