‘Piastri sitting in the Alpine seem extremely small,’ Alpine certain to part ways from Oscar Piastri in 2023

‘Piastri sitting in the Alpine seem extremely small,’ Alpine certain to part ways from Oscar Piastri in 2023

Oscar Piastri had a seat for 2023 after an unwilling contract decision with Alpine. Though he cleared his words by completely disagreeing with what Alpine did, things were all set for some court-running and legal actions against Oscar and McLaren by Alpine. But now, the French team seems to take a step back and the reasons are set to be money.

Fernando Alonso decided to leave Alpine by the end of the 2022 season and took a different path with ASTON Martin. This left Alpine in shock with a sudden change in their predicted lineup for the 2023 season. But luckily Oscar Piastri had had his connection with Alpine since his younger championships. Another bomb that Alpine received was Oscar rejecting their contract for next season and holding his hands with the direct rival.

McLaren has already given up a place for Oscar to take care of by removing Daniel Ricciardo as their 2023 driver. This was another shocking story in the last few days as Ricciardo was all set to continue his journey with the papaya team.

Possible replacement for Oscar Piastri in Alpine

With no Oscar Piastri in Alpine for next season, the French team will have to look for some other plans to make their next season a bit strong. Esteban Ocon is already a part of Alpine, a French driver for the French Team.

A possible chance for Pierre Gasly could arrive in his home team making Alpine an all-French team. The only problem stays is a talk with AlphaTauri, who have already signed Pierre for another season. But proper pay might get Gasly a chance to drive a better car than AlphaTauri next season.

Daniel Ricciardo could join Alpine again next season, making a return after he left the team in 2020. This is most probably possible if Alpine doesn’t get any better young drivers for the next season.

Mick Schumacher is another possible driver who could take charge of Alpine and make a step ahead in his career after showing his skills in Haas this season.
