Nyck De Vries performed at the best level after getting his opportunity. Nyck managed to showcase his skills at the top and did prove to be worthy of the car and seat for the future. Another fascinating thing was, that he didn’t really prepare for the race but still openly defeated his teammate in his very first chance. Nyck drove for Williams at the Italian GP.

Williams hasn’t really been performing at the best this season and is still the weakest team in the paddock. 2022 saw a regulation change that brought a shuffle in the order of team standing we were used to. But Williams still managed to get their spot fixed at the bottom. Though after Nyck’s brilliant performance at Monza, there could be various assumptions taking place regarding the team’s real performance.

Alex Albon already brought out the best from the Williams, but Latifi wasn’t managing to do the same which brought down the team’s overall performance. This eventually got a bit suspicious with Nyck scoring his first points in the very first race. Williams could have done much better with Alex and Nyck as their lineup for the season.

Power Ranking for Nyck de Vries is a bit more than speculated

Nyck got a 9.8 in the power ranking, with a brilliant performance at Monza, the driver did belong on the top of the performance chart. But people and fans aren’t really happy with the list downgrading a few performances at Itlay. One of those was Lewis Hamilton’s great comeback.

Fans reacted in various ways to the ranking, most of them being critical. “how does this make any sense,” said one Fan. “Hamilton 7.6 points? this must be a joke.”, “Right calm down 9.8 is a bit of a stretch.” are the few fan reactions.

Although Lewis started from P19 he managed a P5 finish. Daniel Ricciardo managed a great race while he held the pack behind him. A few more drives went unnoticed with Nyck’s brilliant points finish which seems to be a bit too much to his name at the very first race.
