Sebastian Vettel
Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher’s ‘bromance’ is well known. The two germans are widely considered to be a protege-mentor duo, and it has been compared to the relationship that Vettel and Mick’s father, racing legend Michael Schumacher had once. They truly have a very great friendship.
At the end of the season, Sebastian Vettel will retire from Formula 1. He had cited the reasons as wanting to spend more time with his family. Vettel has had a momentous career, the highlight of which was his incredible period of domination at Red Bull when he won four straight driver’s championships. For his 2013 season, he holds the record for the most victories in an F1 season along with his idol Michael Schumacher, both with 13.
10 years later after his idol had retired, Vettel will now follow in the same way. It will now be up to young Mick Schumacher to carry the baton for Germany, and he will undoubtedly be getting more good advice from Vettel, which should help him. It will also help to know that Vettel wants his fans also to extend support to his protege.
Sebastian Vettel: “Go and support Mick now”

Recently, Sebastian Vettel sent a package to a couple of fans. One of them posted on Twitter about with images of the package, which contained caps and signed cards. There were also a pair of personally written letters, and one of those contained a sweet message about his protege Mick Schumacher.
The end of the note read: “Go and support Mick now =) He needs it!”
As if fans need more reason to love Vettel, and more reason to love the two’s friendship. Earlier, there had even been some rumours that Mick Schumacher may eventually replace Vettel at Aston Martin, but they have fallen through, as Fernando Alonso has taken the seat now.
When Sebastian Vettel leaves the sport, there will be more than a few tears shed by fans. He is truly an icon of the sport, and a very well-loved figure, no one will have a bad word to say about the German, and gestures like these just display why that is the case.
