Ted Kravitz, the F1 reporter, has recently shed light on what he believes Sebastian Vettel’s next move is going to be regarding the pinnacle of motor racing. The German retired at the end of last year and, since then, has preferred to stay away from the sport and spend time with his family. He drove in F1 for a period of 17 years before calling it quits at the end of the 2022 F1 season with Aston Martin.

While Sebastian Vettel is away and spending much-needed quality time with his family, nothing has stopped the rumor mill from coming up with all kinds of rumors regarding his return to F1. His die-hard fans would love to see him behind the wheel of an F1 livery again, but Ted Kravitz sees the German returning to F1 in a management role. While talking about it, he said, “We may well see a surprise comeback of Sebastian Vettel this year, but it won’t be as a driver.

Possibly Audi, maybe, but I kind of think he will come back to Red Bull. I think he will replace Helmut Marko, that is more likely. As the sort of motorsport advisor.” Ted Kravitz has made it crystal clear that Sebastian Vettel would make his return to F1 at Red Bull and would replace its current team adviser, Helmut Marko. This is a big claim considering Vettel is only 35 years old and could return as a racer if he wants to.

Moreover, if Vettel decides to return to F1 in a driver’s capacity, there would be quite a few teams liming up to bring him on board. The German has a wealth of experience when it comes to the sport and has even won the F1 World Championship a brilliant four times with the Red Bull F1 team. He is a pure genius on a racing track, and any team would be lucky to have him in their garage as a racing driver.

While most F1 fans would want to see Sebastian Vettel taking on the various F1 tracks again, if, however, Vettel decides to come into the sport in a management role, then the Milton-Keynes-based Red Bull would be a great fit for him. He has previously spent successful years with the team, and his wealth of experience would help Christian Horner and Co. immensely in making the team even stronger than it already is.

Helmut Marko is currently 79 years old, and no one knows for how long he is going to be around Red Bull. While talking about the same, Marko recently added, “I am a free person, I can stop at any time if I’m no longer happy. He ended his comments by giving a warning and said, “Wait and see how the future turns out.” It seems that Marko is in discussions with the team regarding his future at Red Bull.

However, if things don’t pan out well for Helmut Marko, and Red Bull decides to replace him, Sebastian Vettel would be the ideal candidate considering his huge stature at the pinnacle of motor racing.
