Has Charles Leclerc lost the championship?
The 2022 F1 season started off very good for Ferrari lead driver, Charles Leclerc and it seemed that he was on the road to win the championship. However, as the season continued those hopes have started diminishing, the bad strategy calls, reliability issues and driver errors have in turn been a bad omen for the 24 year old Monegasque driver and have cost him crucial points in the championship.
Ferrari fans were excited to see that despite 2 bad seasons by the Italian team, they were able to make a comeback this season and produce a championship winning car, but that excitement has turned into despair and anger towards the team as the numerous blunders made by them have cost them numerous points in the championship race.
Charles Leclerc is still hopeful about his chances and has the spirit to still put up a fight against Red-Bull and Max Verstappen. With 7 races to go, if Ferrari are unable to buck up and make a comeback then the championship will truly be out of their hands.
