Formula One has gone all over the world and then some, the destinations of the pinnacle of motorsport varying country-to-country, track-to-track. While this diversity is what makes F1 special, some tracks define the sport itself, such as Spa, Monza, Imola, or Monaco.
Monaco and Spa have long been under scrutiny, Monaco for the lack of an entertainment factor, and Spa for its redundant safety systems. Now the renewal of Imola and Monza are still being awaited as well. F1 president Stefano Domenicali, who was recently spotted with the FIFA president at the Qatar GP, claims that confirmation is yet to be received, but the FIA is doing everything in its capacity to take the deals forward.

Renewal with Imola and Monza? We are negotiating, but we need elements to take this negotiation forward.Domenicali said, as reported by formulapassion.it
Three major tracks, Le Castellet, Hockenheimring, and more importantly, the Nurburgring are all not in use anymore, which could pave the way for newer tracks like street circuits to gradually replace the classics.
Stefano Domenicali insists on a firm stand against the 11th F1 team
As per the Concorde Agreement, Formula One has the capacity for up to 12 teams to compete on the grid. With currently 10 spots being filled, Andretti has recently attempted to join the pinnacle of motorsport as an engine and chassis manufacturer.

While the FIA and Ben Sulayem have largely supported such a bid, F1 president Stefano Domenicali has done the opposite. The Italian said that it’s not about the financial effects, but rather the long-term impact on the sport and how beneficial an 11th team in Formula One could be.
On [the prospect of an 11th team], I'm not changing my mind. It's not the money, as we have said, and I don't want to anticipate anything because there is a process.Stefano Domenicali said, as reported by blackbookmotorsport.com
Audi and Andretti are two major figures trying to make their way into F1, with Audi planning to buy out Sauber in 2026 and Andretti aiming to start their own, brand-new outfit. Both companies are decorated in other racing categories but have yet to make their mark in Formula One.
