Kevin Magnussen’s return to F1 has nothing been short of a fairy tale per the standards of the sport. The Danish driver had no return in sight, but as the fate would have it, Russia attacked Ukraine, and that eventually lead to Nikita Mazepin’s termination from Haas, thus opening a seat for him.

Kevin recalls his first meeting and the words of the German driver and his teammate Mick Schumacher, who has been with Haas for a year. As quoted by Sport1.de from Sport Bild, the returning driver said, “His very first words to me were ‘Suck my balls!’,” a reference to Kevin’s words to the F1 driver Nico Hulkenberg.

Mick referred to an interview between Nick and Kevin, where the latter replied to the former in an interview by saying, “Suck my balls, honey,” adding more fuel to the conflict between them, which started at the 2017 Hungary GP. However, the two drivers seem to have buried the hatchet. The two talked at the starting of the season when Nico replaced an ill Sebastian Vettel and greeted Kevin with “Suck my balls, honey,” which Kevin approved of.

The chemistry between Magnussen and Mick Schumacher has appeared to be great so far. Kevin seems to be enjoying the company of the German and has showered words of praise, yet again.

While Mick is yet to win the first championship point of his career, Kevin believes it will happen soon. He said, “He’s a top driver. Many say he is only in Formula 1 because of his last name. He has earned his place in Formula 1. Mick is getting better every week and has already reached a new level in the first races of this season. He will get his first points in the near future.”

Earlier, Kevin praised Mick for being down to earth and polite, and eager to learn without putting his ego in front. The duo seems to be getting along well so far, and hopefully, with a car that can potentially bag him points, Mick takes the chance and do so.
