Max Verstappen, a 24-year-old World Champion, mentions down his mentality for winning the most out of his profession. But he opens up with the most important thing a driver needs to the incumbent to get the success he wants. Max has always been aggressive and very critical about his performance in the race.
Max Verstappen was the most under pressure fighting a seven-time world champion in the equal car. And there were occasions when he showed himself being open to mistakes pressure brings in. But the 2022 season has been obvious for Max, he has been off pressure after winning the 2021 season and has performed much better this season.
Max opens up to his change as a clear cut-off from pressure even though things could change quickly, “If it’s a rain race or in general very difficult conditions, or in a very important qualifying session, to be up there. That’s when you can make the difference. Or score just a little bit more points than, let’s say your teammate,” said Max.
Max Verstappen on the difference between drivers
Max Verstappen understands all the drivers and their powered skills, but he finds a common thing every driver will agree to. Being calm under extremely tough circumstances is what differentiates every driver from becoming a Formula 1 driver.
“There are so many good drivers out there in the world, but because of random luck or just circumstances they didn’t get to drive in Formula One,” said Max.
Anyway, Red Bull being a bit in struggle is still dominant in the league leading the pack with 100 points. Max Verstappen performing at his best is 80 points ahead of his rival.
