The Monaco Grand Prix went underway last week; Monte Carlo has been known for rich and famous people to spend their day during the Grand Prix week. Many celebrities attend the race and are found up and down at the paddock, it gets difficult for the reporters to keep count of all of them.

The Vampire Diaries star, Nina Dobrev, too, showed up on race day with her boyfriend, Shaun White, who is a 3 time Olympic Gold Medallist in snowboarding.

Nina evidently had a nice time meeting the teams and their drivers, as she now posted the pictures on Instagram, almost a week after the event, with the caption “took me 7 days to recover/be able to post last weekends Grand Prix. the drivers couldn’t drink, someone had to…”  She had pictures with many teams which included Ferrari, Mercedes, and Haas.

She watched the race past her balcony in Monaco, and was awestruck as the cars paced.

“Holy Sh*t, It’s fast! Oh My God!” Dobrev exclaimed as the cars zoomed past.

The actress watched the race from her balcony, which gave her a pretty view of the track, and as the cars caught up on pace after the heavy rain, she was awestruck by their speeds and screamed “holy sh**It’s fast! Oh my God!” In the Instagram post, she also included a video of the cars lined up to go on track after the red flag.

The race was a home race for Charles Leclerc, who had a comfortable pole position in qualifying, however, the rain made the race chaotic after a 70 minute delayed start. Charles Leclerc was still leading the race after the start, but later, because of a mistake in Ferrari’s pit strategy, Leclerc was called in early to shift to slicks after he had already made a pitstop, which saw him drop down to P4. He finished the race in the same position after Albon’s backmarker was causing him troubles to past, as he screamed on the team radio. Sergio Perez crossed the line to win the race, followed up by Carlos Sainz, and Max Verstappen.
