“The grid will never be the same without him,” F1 Twitter left in utter disbelief after Sebastian Vettel announces retirement

Sebastian Vettel has announced his retirement from F1 at the end of the 2022 season. This means that the German has just 10 more races to cap off a 15-year long and successful F1 career. The veteran driver has a huge fanbase, and is one of the most liked drivers on the current grid.

Social media was left in utter disbelief after Sebastian Vettel decided to hang up his helmet. Although, many would have anticipated this announcement, yet only a few expected for this decision to be made so soon.

It is safe to say that Sebastian Vettel has not done justice to his usual standards in the past couple of years. The German’s stint at Ferrari did not end on a good note, as the Italian giants endured one of their worst seasons in F1. At Aston Martin, Vettel has not been able to turn around his fortunes either. He is placed 14th in the driver’s championship, with just 15 points to his name.
