McLaren is behind Alpine in the Constructors Championship
The McLaren F1 team had one of its best weekends of the 2022 season at the Singapore Grand Prix, where at the end of the race, the papaya-colored team was able to leapfrog Alpine in the Constructors Championship.
However, Japan was the complete opposite of their outing at the Marina Bay Circuit, and after 18 rounds, the Woking-based team has again slipped to fifth in the Championship.
The in-form Alpine F1 team is currently sitting in fourth place with 143 points to its name whereas McLaren has only got 130 points to show for its efforts.
There are four races remaining in the 2022 F1 season, and if Lando Norris and Co. want to finish fourth in the Championship, then they have to pull their socks up and try to finish ahead of Alpine in the upcoming races.
Will McLaren be able to get the better of Alpine in the Constructors Championship?
