“The new FIA President doesn’t care,” FIA under immense turmoil after Mohammed Ben Sulayem sacks F1’s Head of Operations

There is never a dull day in the world of motorsports. Mohammed Ben Sulayem the FIA President has recently fired the F1’s Head of Operations and F2 race director Gwen Bourcier.
This has come sometime after Michael Masi was released from his duties at FIA, this sudden sacking of a reputed person has sent shockwaves throughout the system.
Ahead of the 2022 F1 season, Michael Masi was removed from the position of race director in F1 but quite recently the Australian was completely relieved of his duties at the FIA, and now with another sacking at the hands of Sulayem, there is a lot of turmoil among the personnel in the administration.
As per reports, it is believed that so far in the 2022 season, there have been quite a few internal conflicts at FIA, and all that unwanted chaos has led to seeping in of dissatisfaction among the people.
Mohammed Ben Sulayem’s behavior so far as the FIA president has been erratic and the sudden sacking of Gwen Bourcier has not sat well with anyone at the organization.
Mohammed Ben Sulayem appointed two race directors for the 2022 F1 season

After the sacking of Michael Masi as the F1 race director, questions were looming as to who was going to replace the Australian. To tackle the problem, Sulayem came up with a unique solution of appointing two race directors.
However, so far after 11 rounds the new race directors, Eduardo Freitas and Niles Wuttich have come under heavy criticism for the decision-making that they have done in the season.
The Formula One drivers believe that the duo hasn’t been consistent with their decision making and this has caused a lot of displeasure.

Ever since Mohammed Ben Sulayem has taken charge at the FIA, things haven’t been smooth on and off track and the way things are going, it won’t come as s surprise if people start calling for the head of Sulayem as the FIA President.
There are still 11 rounds left in the 2022 F1 season and it is going to be fascinating to see what the FIA President is going to do next that will raise the eyebrows of people all over the world.
