“There’s a real family connection with rallycross,” Jenson Button expresses his desire to emulate his father as he sets to take his racing career off-road
The British race car driver, Jenson Button, won the Formula 1 Championship back in 2009 while driving for the Brawn GP Team. After retiring from Formula 1, he went on to become a champion of the 2018 season of the Super GT Series alongside Naoki Yamamoto, with whom he shared a Honda racing car at Team Kunimitsu. He also drove in the 24 Hours of Le Mans back in 2018.
Button’s main aim while participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2018 was to get experience in long distance races and then participate again. Well, his aim to re participate is not fulfilled yet. After 2018, the driver has not participated in this iconic racing event but he aims to do so in the future.
Button said that he would love to participate in Le Mans again and he may even participate in it with his own team, Jenson Team Rocket RJN. He currently participates in the British GP Championship with his team.

Jenson Button’s urge to race more
Button was a beast of a driver and to keep someone like him away from racing is nearly impossible. The British driver has taken up a new challenge as he is set to participate in the 2022-2023 season of Nitro Rally Cross along with his teammate, Bennet.
In an interview Button said, “There’s a real family connection with rallycross. Dad used to race in the late ’70s and ’80s in a Volkswagen Beetle and then a Volkswagen Golf. If you go on YouTube you’ll actually find some videos of my Dad racing at Lydden Hill with Murray Walker commentating,” as per motorsportmagazine.
Jenson Button can’t be kept away from racing and his aim to participate in the Le Mans stays the same. Well, it’s for time to tell whether we will see him racing in the Le Mans again or not.
