Valtteri Bottas is all set for the 2023 Formula 1 season. Bottas will continue racing for the Alfa Romeo F1 team this year. Valtteri seeks to solidify his place before Audi’s arrival to the team in 2026. Subsequently, the Finnish driver is leaving no stone unturned before the start of the upcoming season. Recently, Bottas once again showcased his hard work in achieving optimal performance.
Valtteri Bottas shared a reel on Instagram. The video depicted Valtteri training extensively with a variety of equipment. Bottas’s full body workout was complimented by a calming audio of the song, Trampoline by SHAED in the clip. Interestingly, Valtteri even claimed to use a rather unique driver helmet during the session. The Finnish driver apparently used a driver helmet weighing 11 kg!
Correspondingly, Valtteri Bottas uploaded an Instagram story. Bottas wrote, “The 11kg @Stilo_Official helmet is my best friend in February.” Certainly, such a heavy crash helmet is a challenge to wear for any sportsperson let alone the ambitious task of working out in one. However, it seems that Valtteri is preparing himself extensively before the upcoming F1 season in a bid to achieve some decent results this season.

Valtteri Bottas has driven the Alfa Romeo C43 during a Pre-season shakedown

The Alfa Romeo F1 team is presently in a phase of transformation. The Sauber-run squad will soon turn into a full-fledged works team for the German automaker, Audi. Hence, massive shake-ups have taken place in the Swiss team, including the arrival of Andreas Seidl as Sauber CEO. Consequently, high expectations have been put in place for drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu to perform this year as it embraces a new era.
Valtteri Bottas has got the chance to drive the team’s new C43 in Barcelona. The Finnish driver has been pleased with Alfa Romeo’s preparations for this season and has worked harmoniously with teammate Zhou Guanyu. However, the team will have to wait to truly realize its position in the F1 pecking order as its rivals too, continue to work their way up the field. Certainly, 2023 will be an exciting year in the F1 midfield.

Thus, Valtteri Bottas is prepared for the new challenges of the upcoming F1 season. Bottas has been rejuvenated after joining the Swiss outfit as the Finn now has a lot less pressure to deal with. Yet, Valtteri might just feel the heat this year if he fails to give his best as Audi will not think twice before replacing the Finnish driver in such a scenario. Although, it seems that Bottas will do his best to mitigate such a situation.
