Valtteri Bottas, the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 driver, has launched an initiative to support research against prostate cancer. Bottas has, in the past, taken on several kinds of initiatives, and the prostate cancer one is the latest that he has decided to take on to support the research work around it.

While Valtteri Bottas has decided to support the research, he has done it uniquely. He is well known in the F1 paddock for posing naked quite a few times during certain F1 breaks, and, continuing with the trend, he has launched his own 2024 calendar with several naked pictures of him.

The 2024 calendar is going to be available for purchase for 20 dollars, and five of them will go to studies carried out to try to alleviate prostate cancer disease. This news has been confirmed recently by Bottas himself via his various social media accounts.

The sale proceeds of the calendars will go to Movember, a foundation dedicated to men’s health. Moreover, for several years it has been chosen as one of the 100 most notable NGOs. While the first few pics of the calendar are out, there is a possibility that the pictures could look quite different from what has been shown in the recent pictures.

Valtteri Bottas needs a strong end to the 2023 F1 season

While Valtteri Bottas has been quite busy with his ventures outside the pinnacle of motor racing, he has had a pretty average 2023 F1 season. Alfa Romeo’s package this year has not proved competitive enough, and thus, Bottas has only managed to score ten points.

Next up on the F1 calendar is the Las Vegas Grand Prix, and considering that it is the inaugural event, it could provide the lights of Bottas and Zhou the opportunity to do something special. However, it will be quite a tough task, considering the C43 has proved too hot and cold this year.

Valtteri Bottas came into the 2023 F1 season high on hopes of fighting with the lights of Alpine and Co, but the way the season has panned out so far, it would be interesting to see how much he would be able to push his car in Las Vegas and at the last race of the campaign in Abu Dhabi.
