The Mexican GP is just around the corner, and ahead of the three-day extravaganza, F1 has just a while back announced that the Autodromo Hermanos Rogriguez Circuit is going to stay on the calendar at least until the 2025 season of the sport.

Moreover, the first Mexican GP as per the latest contract extension is going to take place between October 27-29, 2023.

While there is jubilation in the hierarchy of the racing circuit, the fans of the sport are extremely excited as well and have taken to Twitter to let their opinions known on the sensational announcement.

Fans have gone totally bonkers after the announcement and it is understandable considering the nerve-wracking action that the race has produced in the previous seasons of the sport.

The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez Circuit has produced exciting racing whenever an F1 race has taken place on the 4.304 KM track and with it being guaranteed a spot until 2025, it is good news for fans in Mexico and also for F1 enthusiasts in general.

While the contract extension of the Mexican GP has brought a lot of happiness to the fans in Mexico, F1 President, and CEO, Stefano Domenicali has also shared his thoughts.

While talking about the extension, Domenicali said, “I am very pleased to announce that Formula 1 will continue to race in Mexico City for another three years under this new agreement.

Every year the race attracts a large number of passionate fans, and the atmosphere is incredible, and I know everyone will be excited by this news.

Looking at Domenicali’s comments, it seems everyone is extremely pleased with the Contract extension and is looking forward to seeing F1 cars take on the Mexico GP race track for at least until the 2025 season.

Moreover, one man that must be over the moon with the announcement, is none other than Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez. The Mexican has got a contract with the Milton-Keynes-based team until 2024 and is going to cherish racing in front of his home fans for a few more years.
