The Brazilian GP is underway. The Sao Paulo race is one of the most highly anticipated races on the F1 calendar. As such, it is no surprise that stars from around the world come to visit the Grand Prix at Interlagos. American rapper Machine Gun Kelly was one of such celebrities who decided to attend the race.

The music sensation was on the grid before the start of the Brazilian GP. This led to F1 presenter Martin Brundle crossing paths with the 33-year-old during his famous grid walks. Unsurprisingly, Brundle decided to interview MGK. However, it seems that Kelly was more interested in the badge of the former F1 driver.

Martin Brundle had to tell MGK that the badge was fake as the 33-year-old touched his shirt. Brundle then asked Machine Gun Kelly about his music career. The American rapper seemed confused and lost for words. Eventually, Kelly stated that he simply does not think about his career in what was an awkward interview. He replied, “I don’t think about my career.”

Fans on X were not thrilled to see MGK on their TV screens before the start of the race. One user wondered who would have allowed the 33-year-old to be on the grid. The user asked, “Who let bro in?” While another fan wanted the American rapper to be removed from the coverage right away. The fan wrote, “Get machine gun kelly off my screen he’s so odd??”

Users were not happy with MGK’s interaction with Martin Brundle. One fan lashed out at the music icon and replied, “Wow – Machine Gun Kelly is a d**k!” Additionally, another user claimed that this was the most uncomfortable interview they had ever seen. The user commented, “I’ve seen a lot of awkward interviews but the Machine Gun Kelly is right up there.”

Certainly, Machine Gun Kelly did not have the best of chats with Brundle on the grid. Martin Brundle has been famous for difficult conversations with celebrities. However, this interaction with MGK would probably be one of the worst for the F1 presenter. Although, fans were definitely amused by this interview.
