The F1 world was busy understanding the Ferrari Sf-24 and how it would shake up the Grid. Meanwhile, Red Bull was spotted running the RB20 at Silverstone ahead of its official reveal on the 15th of February. Fans have reacted to this unannounced shakedown of the car in a multitude of ways, some even referring to the investigation going on by Red Bull team principal Christian Horner and taunting the team.

Red Bull’s parent company had launched an investigation on the F1 team supremo for allegedly behaving inappropriately with another colleague. A video has been leaked suggesting that a shakedown run with the car has been completed ahead of its launch. In the video RB20, driven by Max Verstappen, and RB1 driven by David Coulthard, are racing against each other for promotional purposes.

The team has been expected to dominate the upcoming season and continue the winning streak ahead of the launch. Many team principals believe that the success of Red Bull will be dependent on how Adrian Newey uses his magic. On the other hand, fans are amused by Horner’s situation and how Red Bull would be showcasing their 2024 challenger without knowing whether he will be the team principal or not.

What are the allegations against Christian Horner?

Christian Horner has been the Red Bull F1 team chief since its inception. The Briton has been at the core of the team and has recruited multiple members and drivers to take the team where it is currently. A complaint was filed against him by an employee and an investigation is under process against the Supremo.

He has been alleged to have behaved inappropriately with a fellow employee, who filed a complaint with the parent company. Red Bull Austria has hired an external lawyer to investigate about the issue fairly without any interference.

The paddock waits eagerly for a verdict to be given on the investigation and who will be the team principal at Milton Keynes. The team is set to launch their car soon and demonstrate their prowess on the track.
