WATCH: Valtteri Bottas shocks the internet as the F1 driver returns from a swim sporting Victoria Bitter swimwear
Valtteri Bottas returns from a swim wearing VB swimwear
Valtteri Bottas has a new-found love for the southern hemisphere. Valtteri has spent the last few weeks down under. At first, Bottas spent some time in Australia, getting to grips with the locals and even getting a makeover. However, recently the 33-year-old emerged in New Zealand. Bottas ended the year on a high on a trip with his Kiwi friends including former F1 driver Brendon Hartley.
Valtteri Bottas formed a connection with the Australian beer giant Victoria Bitter during his time in Australia. It seems that Bottas has not lost any love for Aussie beer in New Zealand. The Finn uploaded a story on his Instagram where the 33-year-old could be seen coming back from a swim wearing VB swimwear. This is proof of Valtteri’s fondness for VB and perhaps an indication of the fun he’s been having recently.
The back of the bathing wear has the words, “Budgy Smuggler” printed. This is a sign that the Australian swimwear manufacturer custom-made these shorts for Valtteri Bottas. The video showcases Valtteri returning in slow motion, giving the viewers the vibe of a lead in a movie. The song, ‘How bizarre’ plays in the background, definitely accurate for some of the reactions Bottas would have received.
Valtteri Bottas enters the new year with a refreshing trip to New Zealand
Bottas has been enjoying his time in the island country. But it does not mean that the Alfa Romeo is leaving any stone unturned before the start of the 2023 F1 season. Valtteri Bottas recently completed 7777.7km on a bike in 2022. An amazing feat for the F1 driver. This shows the passion Valtteri has had for cycling and of course his brilliant fitness.
Valtteri’s connection with VB has led to the fans wanting the Finn to become an honorary Australian citizen. Valtteri Bottas first broke the internet after appearing on the beaches of Melbourne with a mullet and a VB singlet. This certainly has helped the fans to cope with the loss of Daniel Ricciardo from F1 this year. Although Oscar Piastri is also an Australian driver who will join the grid this year.
It seems that Valtteri Bottas truly deserves to be an Australian citizen. Bottas has rejoiced his time down under and fallen for the love of Victoria Bitter. Heading into the 2023 F1 season, Valtteri will be energized. The Finn has spent some delightful few weeks and even met with some of the best Kiwi racing drivers. We hope that Bottas has a successful season in 2023 and can solidify his place at Alfa Romeo which would become Audi in 2026.
