The 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix was a memorable affair for several reasons. It had everything in ample amounts, and while the on-track action was sensational, the event was also graced by well-renowned celeb personalities. One of those was the famous golfer Max Homa (John Maxwell Homa).

He was the Williams F1 team’s special guest at the event, and he even had the opportunity to get into Alex Albons FW45 ahead of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. To say the least, Max Homa was stoked with the experience of getting into an F1 car.

He shared his thoughts with Alex Albon. Looking at the reaction of Homa, it is quite clear that he had a great time inside the cockpit of the Williams FW45.

This is tiny! How the hell do you do this? That's where you see? You're a psycho! You are crazy! How are you nervous golfing.

Moreover, he asked Alex Albon how he gets nervous golfing when he goes through the incredible pressure of driving an F1 car regularly. Max Homa, during his time with Williams, truly understood how much goes on in a team during a full-fledged F1 grand prix weekend.

Alex Albon managed a P12 finish at the Las Vegas GP

While Max Homa had a wonderful time inside the cockpit of Alex Albon’s FW45, the latter did not have a great time during the inaugural 50-laps Las Vegas Grand Prix event. Albon started the event well inside the top 10, but as the race continued, he only slipped backward on the grid.

The Williams car was expected to prove very strong during the race based on the evidence of yesterday’s qualifying session. However, as the light went out, the Williams duo only slipped backward and, ultimately, ended their outing out of the points-scoring positions.

Despite Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant’s best efforts, they could only end their respective outings in disappointing P12 and P16 positions. With one race remaining this year, Albon and Co. would hope for at least a top-ten finish during the famous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
