The news of Daniel Ricciardo’s departure from McLaren has certainly put many teams on alert, as despite a tough stint with McLaren, he is an eight-time Grand Prix winner and has still got a lot left in his tank.

The most obvious destination as per many pundits of the sport for Ricciardo could be his former employer Alpine which was until 2020 known as Renault.

The Australian spent two seasons with the french team before leaving for McLaren and in those two years, he was able to show the caliber that he has got as an F1 driver.

A move to the Fench team would make sense for both parties, however, there are other players as well who would want to get him on their team, it is believed that Haas has shown interest in him with AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo also interested.
