In recent times, the McLaren CEO, Zak Brown, has been extremely vocal against the dubious alliance of Red Bull and its sister team, AlphaTauri. Brown feels their secretive alliance is not allowing for transparency in the sport.
AlphaTauri’s main job, since its inception, has been to provide ready drivers to make the jump to Red Bull. However, their relationship has developed immensely and it is believed that they are working closely together ahead of the 2024 F1 season.
Zak Brown believes something fishy is going on and while talking about it, he recently said, as reported by Racingnews365:
I think everything is pretty clear what the rules are. I think the A-B team ownership is now outdated. So there are the rules, which I think need to be reviewed quickly. F1 always has rules and I wouldn't want to say because I don't know who pushes the envelope, that’s got a long history, not just around A-B team relationships, but a variety of rules.
Looking at the reaction of Brown, it is quite clear that he wants F1’s hierarchy to look into Red Bull and AlphaTauri’s relationship immediately. Moreover, he has made it known that their current structure is completely outdated.
AlphaTauri is reportedly going to get assistance from Red Bull with its 2024 car
While Zak Brown has asked the higher-ups to look into Red Bull and AlphaTauri’s relation, it has been made known that Christian Horner’s team is all set to help Daniel Ricciardo and Co. Especially, with the development of their 2024 car.
Several reports regarding this have surfaced all over the web. Moreover, it has also come to light that the Faenza-based team will be called Racing Bulls from this year onward. The new name has received immense heat from the fans.

Keeping in view everything that has been discussed above, the upcoming campaign will see a lot of attention on AlphaTauri. The outfit is usually seen operating in the lower half of the F1 midfield, but during the upcoming campaign, it could spring up some surprises.
