Aside from Monaco, Monza is perhaps the most iconic Formula 1 track, and is popularly dubbed ‘The Temple of Speed’ and so some celebrities always arrive to watch. This time there are certainly a good bunch as well, and AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is among those present.
Earlier this year, he had also met with Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, and he has affirmed his commitment as a Ferrari fan. When asked by Sky Germany on who he is supporting this weekend, he said: “I am an absolute Ferrari fan. I hope they win.”
Ferrari certainly do have a chance here, as Charles Leclerc is starting on pole, but it’s not a given. He will have to hold off an incredibly impressive Max Verstappen to win today. It’s all to play for. Kimi Raikkonen, who had won the last Driver’s Championship for Ferrari, is also present.

Kimi Raikkonen returns to the paddock
Kimi Raikkonen retired at the end of last season, after what was a glorious career. Not only was he the last Driver’s Champion for Ferrari, he also competed in a total of 151 races for the team, second only to Michael Schumacher. Recently, he had a NASCAR outing, but that unfortunately ended prematurely due to a crash.
This is his first visit to the paddock for Raikkonen since he has retired from the sport, and fans surely love the sight of the ‘Iceman’ back where he made his name. Unfortunately, the Finnish driver never won here in his career, despite putting up a brave fight against the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
Aside from Raikkonen and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, American film star Sylvester Stallone and British film star Hugh Grant are also present in the paddock, with his partner Anna Elisabet Eberstein. Stallone even took a picture with Red Bull’s team principal, Christian Horner. On the other hand, as said on the F1 broadcast by David Croft, Grant is in the Ferrari garage.
