Charles Leclerc has continued to score well throughout the 2024 season despite the slump in performance from Ferrari. The Monegasque had already amassed a race win at his home race of the Monaco GP. Hence, the 26-year-old has further scored an impressive race win in front of the Tifosis at the Italian GP. As a result, even Nico Rosberg was spotted showing his support for the grand celebrations.

Ferrari had faced their fair share of struggles over the Italian GP as Charles Leclerc was fuming on the team radio. Regardless, the 26-year-old decided to stick to a highly risky one-stop strategy. The risk paid high rewards as Leclerc scored his second race win of the ongoing campaign. Hence, the entire Italian crowd broke into celebration at the masterclass performance from the Monegasque.

Amongst the sea of supporters, Nico Rosberg was also present at the grand celebration of Leclerc’s win. Rosberg shared a video of him chanting ‘Forza Ferrari’ and showcasing the massive sea of reds in Monza. The Monegasque’s win in Monza after 2019 was extremely special as he also scored great points for Maranello amidst their performance slump.

Charles Leclerc claimed that winning the Italian GP was an ‘incredible feeling’

Charles Leclerc was extremely emotional during the in-lap of the Italian GP. He noted that winning in Monza was an ‘incredible feeling.’ Leclerc further recalled his victory back in 2019 and claimed that this race win had the same specialty as the last time around. Subsequently, the Monegasque claimed that winning the Monaco GP and the Italian GP were the two races he wanted to win every year.

It's an incredible feeing, actually I thought that the first time would feel like this and the second time wouldn't feel as special. But my god the emotions in the last few laps, Monaco and Monza are the two races I want to win every year and I've managed to win them this year. It is so, so special.

Ferrari has continued to score great points over the race weekends despite the slump in performance. Hence, the Italian constructor has continued to maintain the gap over the rival teams in the constructors’ standings. The end-of-the-season battle would be extremely exciting to witness which driver comes out on top.
