Williams prodigy Franco Colapinto shocked the entire F1 paddock with his impressive mid-season debut. The Argentine driver currently has no full-time seat for 2025. However, it seems that Red Bull has a keen interest in signing Colapinto for its sister team, RB.

Rumors have circulated that Christian Horner wants the 21-year-old within Red Bull’s ambit next year. Now, as per reports, Williams has put a $20 million price tag on breaking Franco Colapinto‘s contract with the Grove-based team.

It is believed that James Vowles is reluctant to lose the services of Colapinto. However, the Grove-based team would accept this eight-figure amount if Red Bull does want the Argentine driver. This amount might not be a problem for Horner as he could recover this sum through Franco Colapinto’s sponsors who have backed the 21-year-old.

Helmut Marko recently praised the Kiwi driver for doing a super job at the Brazilian GP. Critics believe that Lawson could replace Perez at Red Bull next year, with Franco Colapinto joining RB if the team does manage to get him away from Williams.

Liam Lawson did a super job again today, and Yuki. Liam, particularly, considering his experience.

Helmut Marko said, as reported by MotorsportWeek

Certainly, a move to the Red Bull family could be a great option for Colapinto. The Argentine driver could be in the mix for a seat at Milton Keynes in the next couple of years. However, it remains to be seen how things pan out in the coming weeks.
