After a tough quali for me, I’m happy with how we controlled the tyres and in clean air we showed we are stronger than the others and at the end on the mediums we were super quick until the end of the race. Happy but a lot still to learn and a lot to improve on myself as well but it is a solid start.

Colapinto was pleased with the tire temperatures of his car during the 56-lap race at Austin last weekend. He claims that he struggled with certain issues in qualifying but was happy to have resolved the same during the 56-lap race.

The 21-year-old further concluded that he wishes to learn a lot more from the Grove-based team in the coming months. The last five races of the season will be a stern test for him as he looks to improve on his blazing form.
