Red Bull admits to having ‘hit the ceiling’ of RB20 development amidst disappointing winless streak

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has shed light on the recent developments within his team. The Milton Keynes-based outfit has been winless in the past few races, falling behind their rivals McLaren and Ferrari.
Red Bull started the 2024 season in strong form, looking to win a third consecutive constructors’ championship. However, a failure to resolve prevalent issues of the RB20 has landed their chances in major jeopardy.
Christian Horner has thereafter claimed that the RB20’s components lack harmony, which is a key factor behind their poor runs. Horner has emphasized achieving a better balance within the car in order to find a fix for their issues.
We've hit the ceiling in certain areas and the cars disconnected, and sometimes maybe [its better] to have slightly less load but an overall better balance to generate better lap time, better degradation, better tyre management, all of those aspects.Christian Horner explained to the media including RacingNews365
The Milton-Keynes outfit holds a narrow lead of eight points over McLaren in the constructors’ championship. The Papayas have been pitted to be the favorites in winning the title unless Red Bull can manage to salvage their chances here on.

Daniel Ricciardo refuses to be regretful of his decision to depart from Red Bull. However, Ricciardo admits that his career would be on a much different trajectory than what it’s on currently. Conclusively the Australian has labelled this decision as the most controversial one of his long F1 career.
The 35-year-old has been longing for a return to his former team ever since and is fairly hopeful of driving for the Milton Keynes outfit in the future. Ricciardo’s goals and aspirations will tilt in his favor if he delivers strong results for RB in the remaining races of the 2024 campaign.
