F1 reportedly chooses ‘this’ track to replace the Russian GP and ‘this’ as the third GP in the USA

Russian GP 2021 podium
Following the termination of the Russian GP, after Russia’s attack on Ukraine, it is being reported that F1 has found the replacement for the September race. F1’s decision of cancelling the Russian GP was made after a meeting with all the stakeholders, which were present as the Barcelona round of pre-season testing was underway.
According to the reports by Spanish AS Formula 1, the governing body has decided to race in Qatar at the Losail International Circuit, where F1 made its debut last season. Qatar GP will have a ten-year deal that’s reported to start from 2023, possibly racing on a street circuit.
While there are other circuits contending for the race, Qatar seems to be the favorite of the bosses at F1. Other tracks in contention are the Hockenheim- The German GP, where F1 raced last in 2019 and Max Verstappen triumphed over the pole position holder Lewis Hamilton.
Addition of another race in the USA

F1 has seen a tremendous boost around the world and especially in the USA. While some may credit this to the Netflix series Drive to Survive, there isn’t any hard co-relation. However, what’s working best for the sport is the rise in popularity in the North American country.
Now, F1 is looking to add another race in the USA in the casino hub of the country- Las Vegas. Las Vegas GP could be a reality in 2023 and also help with popularising the new F1 Andretti Global team, planning to join in 2024. Austin GP last year saw the maximum attendance in the calendar, with over 400,000 spectators over the three days. This highlights the popularity of F1 in the USA and the reasoning behind the addition of potentially the third race in the country.
If added so, Las Vegas will join Austin and Miami as the American hosts of F1. While Miami GP is set to make its debut this year, it is expected to be as glamourous as the Monaco GP and already seems to be eye candy for many.
