I've tried that [change] in the sim. It felt positive. It helped my feeling with the car. So I really hope that it translates well to the track and we'll see.

Sergio Perez claimed Red Bull’s struggles were ‘more noticeable’ than rival teams

The 2024 season has witnessed multiple teams come forth with highly dominant performances over the race weekend. However, on the contrary, some teams have continued to struggle to perform well. Red Bull is one of them. Upon this, Perez claimed that Milton Keynes’ struggles were more noticeable as they weren’t in the situation ever before.

But like I said there will be teams that will be in a similar situation to us. There are teams that have been in this situation, but Red Bull is obviously a lot more noticeable. But it's OK. I think the focus is over there.

In addition to the struggles, Red Bull will build their own power units from the 2026 season onwards. Hence, even this could be challenging for the constructor as only Ferrari has taken up such a difficult task. As a result, Milton Keynes will have to desperately work to improve their performance at the pinnacle of motorsport.
