Fred Vasseur earlier joined in on the celebrations of McLaren after their win in Miami this season.

McLaren CEO Zak Brown was involved in a light-headed moment with the Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur. Brown gifted Vasseur a McLaren jersey after the team’s extravagant win at the 2024 Singapore GP last week.
McLaren has been in formidable form since their victory in Miami earlier this year. The Papayas lead the constructors’ championship by 42 points to second-placed Red Bull. The Woking-based outfit has amassed a total of four wins and 18 podiums, leading the title race for the first time since 2014.
Fred Vasseur has always been a good friend to the McLaren family, despite being the boss of a rival team. Vasseur earlier in the season, also celebrated with Zak Brown and the Papayas after their win in Miami.

Ferrari has also found their groove, scoring 96 points collectively after the resumption of the summer break. The two teams will now make their best efforts at amassing greater wins and podiums heading into the business end of the season.

Ferrari finished P5 and P7 at the Marina Bay circuit despite looking strong with performances throughout the race weekend. Fred Vasseur has, therefore, revealed the team’s plans to salvage their outcomes ahead of an important race at Austin.

Vasseur iterated that his team is currently making their best efforts to bring small but effective upgrades for the SF-24 ahead of the next race. The Frenchman also claimed that upgrades and changes have been the differentiator amongst the rival teams this season.
The Maranello-based team appeared dissatisfied with the tire temperatures and pace during the Singapore GP. A month-long break until the United States GP will come in clutch for the team as they seek to fire back to form in Austin.
