Alpine speaks of ‘professional’ approach in search of Esteban Ocon’s replacement
Alpine boss, Bruno Famin has spoken of prioritizing a professional approach in the search for a replacement for Esteban Ocon. The latter is set to leave Alpine at the end of this season after a decision unfolded against the French driver after his crash in Monaco.
I think the relationship doesn't matter. The professionalism matters. We need professional drivers.Bruno Famin spoke to SkyF1
Esteban Ocon was involved in an unnecessary incident with his teammate Pierre Gasly during the Monaco Grand Prix, in which the former tried to overtake his teammate but ended up crashing into Gasly. The incident infuriated the Alpine management and a decision was made to not offer a contract extension to the 27-year-old.
