Fabio Carvalho joined Liverpool in 2022 from Fulham but could only get 21 games before he was sold to Brentford a couple of years later for £27.5 million, including add-ons. With 14 appearances for the Bees this season and just a couple of them being starts, things aren’t looking good for the youngster. In the midst of the growing problems, his father commented on Brentford’s social media post, urging him to change clubs.
Brentford finished their game against Everton in Goodison Park in a stalemate, extending their poor run of affairs. In their last five Premier League games, they have just won one game. With the current form of the club, Carvalho’s father looks frustrated, and that came out in a now-deleted comment that he made on one of the club’s Instagram posts.
As reported by The Sun, Victor Carvalho, Fabio Carvalho’s dad, commented, “Son, you have to leave this club.” However, the comment was taken down afterward. The implications of this remark might be detrimental for the youngster, but the club might also just filter this remark as a fan’s emotion and let things be.

It was a 0-0 draw between Everton and Brentford at Goodison Park. To make matters worse for the latter, they were numerically depleted for almost 50 minutes as Christian Norgaard was given his marching orders. Things could have been way worse for the Bees had it not been for Mark Flekken’s outstanding goalkeeping, who stood tall amongst 27 shots taken by the Toffees.
Liverpool is reportedly after Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo
In one of the major developments across English football, Mohamed Salah’s contract is coming to an end this season. Until now, Liverpool hasn’t offered a contract extension, as reported by Paiselygates.com. In another report by Caught Offside, Liverpool has actually started planning for a future without Mo Salah and are looking at Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo.
In the last month, it was reported that the Bees wanted a fee of £60m to let go of their Cameroonian talisman, but a new report from Caught Offside states that the amount has been lowered to just £40m. However, Liverpool isn’t the only team who are a part of this race to sign Mbeumo, as they might face stiff competition from Arsenal, Newcastle United, Manchester United, and Aston Villa.
